Caliu

Caliu is a branding project for a restaurant concept commissioned by a close friend. The idea was to bring the warmth of Catalonia to the Netherlands—offering an inviting space for authentic Catalan and Spanish dishes. 'Caliu' means warmth and togetherness in Catalan, much like the Dutch gezelligheid. The identity reflects this through an earthy colour palette and a logo inspired by the top-down view of empanadas.
